Box Score WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 2) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team improved to 3-0 overall on Tuesday night when it defeated Franciscan 4-2 at John F. Wiley Stadium. The win avenged a 2-1 loss to the Barons last season and gave the Yellow Jackets their second 3-0 start of the past three seasons.

th minute of play to break up a potential shutout.
Waynesburg got back on the scoreboard during the 63
rd minute when Davis notched her second score of the evening and her team-leading fourth of the season. The Barons closed the scoring in the 73
rd minute of action.
Junior goalkeeper
Ciara Scott made three saves over 90 minutes of play to pick up the win in net. The Yellow Jackets out-shot the opposition 12-to-seven.
The Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 6, when they travel to Pittsburgh to take on La Roche. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
