LATROBE, Pa. (Sept. 1) – On Tuesday, the Waynesburg University women's tennis team faced Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Saint Vincent College in the season opener for both schools. The Yellow Jackets fell to the host Bearcats, 8-1, in a non-conference match.
 
The doubles team of freshman Aubree Brown and senior Rachel Klemash scored the lone victory for the Yellow Jackets. The duo competed at the first doubles position and did not drop a game during an 8-0 win.
 
Waynesburg (0-1) returns to action on Friday, Sept. 4, in a road match at Pitt Greensburg. Start time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
