LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 23) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team wrapped up its 2016 schedule on Saturday with a road match at Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) opponent Transylvania. The Yellow Jackets fell 18-2 to the Pioneers.
 
Waynesburg (2-12, 2-7) avoided a shutout by tallying the final two goals of the contest. Juniors Jess Rains and Holly Bachman did the scoring for the Jackets. Bachman also assisted on the Rains score. Senior goalkeeper JoHanna Phillips made 14 saves in her final collegiate game between the pipes.
