NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Sept. 16) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team played its first road match of 2016 when it traveled to Muskingum on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 7-2 to the Muskies.
 
Waynesburg was led by sophomore Aubree Brown, who posted the squad's first 2-0 effort of the season. She teamed with senior Heidi Evans for an 8-3 win at first doubles, before rolling to a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at number-one singles.
 
The Jackets get right back to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, with a second-straight road match. Waynesburg heads to Crestview Hills, Kentucky, for a PAC match with Thomas More. Start time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
