CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (Oct. 14) – The Waynesburg University football team traveled to Thomas More on Saturday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 59-7.
Waynesburg (0-7, 0-5) was shut out for the majority of the contest, but finally broke through for Thomas More (3-4, 2-3) defense with 2:25 left to play in the contest. Junior
Jake Dougherty scored on a three-yard touchdown run that capped a five-play, 70-yard drive.

Austin Wilson rushed for a team-high 54 yards on 13 carries to pace the Waynesburg offense. The Jacket defense was led by junior linebacker
John-Glen Davis, who racked up a team-high 13 tackles. Junior defensive lineman Will VAnNorman added 10 total stops and a sack.
The Jackets are off until Saturday, Oct. 28, when they host Thiel for a PAC matchup following their bye week. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
