GREENSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 6) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team traveled to Pitt Greensburg for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 9-0 final score to the Bobcats
 
The Jackets (1-10) nearly pulled off a victory at third singles, where freshman Sierra Jones took her opponent from UPG (4-7) to a third set. Unfortunately, she came up just short of the win by dropping the deciding set 10-8 in a tiebreaker.
 
Waynesburg returns to action on Monday, Oct. 9, when it hosts Geneva for its regular season finale. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
