WASHINGTON, Pa. (Nov. 11) – The Waynesburg University football team wrapped up its 2017 season on Saturday at 10
th-ranked Washington & Jefferson. The Yellow Jackets fell 42-0 in the annual Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Backyard Brawl.
W&J (10-0, 8-0) clinched a share of the 2017 PAC title with the victory.
Waynesburg was led by junior linebacker
John-Glen Davis, who piled up a team-high 12 tackles, seven of which were solo stops. Davis also totaled a game-high 3.0 tackles for loss. Sophomore safety
VaShon Graham added 10 tackles on the afternoon.
Freshman
JaWuan Jones led the Waynesburg offense with four catches for 66 yards. Jones also returned a punt for 14 yards and took two kicks back for 37 yards.
