WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Feb. 11) – The Waynesburg University men's basketball team hosted Thomas More on Saturday for senior day. A big second half pushed the visiting Saints to a 95-56 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win.
Waynesburg (6-17, 4-12) got off to a great start and built a 19-11 lead after 7:25 of play. Thomas More (17-6, 13-3) responded to the Jackets' challenge with a 12-2 run that edged the visiting team ahead 23-21 halfway through the opening period.

Cam Auld gave the home team the lead back at 24-23. A free throw from freshman point guard
Frank Bozicevic upped the advantage to 25-23 Waynesburg with 8:16 showing on the first half clock.
Unfortunately that was the last lead the home team enjoyed for the remainder of the contest. Thomas More ended the half by outscoring the Jackets 16-6 and taking a 39-31 advantage into the locker room.
Thomas More slowly, but steadily built an insurmountable lead in period number two, before sealing up the victory. The Saints put the finishing touches on the win with a 9-0 run over the last 3:19.

Timmy Kaiser led the Waynesburg offense with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Junior
Kendall Paige pulled down a team-high six rebounds, while Bozicevic swiped away three steals.
Waynesburg plays its final home regular season game of the year on Wednesday, when it hosts Washington & Jefferson. Tip-off is scheduled for7:30 p.m.
