CINCINNATI, Ohio (April 1) – The Waynesburg women's lacrosse team hit the road on Saturday for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match at Mt. St. Joseph University. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 17-5.
The Lions (1-5, 1-1) built up a 13-3 halftime lead before closing out the victory. Waynesburg (0-7, 0-3) was led offensively by senior
Shannon Morgan, who scored twice on the day.

Christina Bauer had a productive day in goal. Not only did she pile up a personal collegiate-high 19 saves, but she also scooped a game-high seven groundballs.
After playing three-straight games on the road, the Yellow Jackets will host Hiram on Tuesday at Waynesburg Central High School. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
