CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (April 8) – The Waynesburg University softball team hit the road for a Saturday Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader against Thomas More. The Yellow Jackets were swept in the twin-bill.
Waynesburg (6-15-1, 2-4) was shut out 8-0 in the opener and dropped game two 11-3. Both contests lasted five innings each. Thomas More (17-7, 6-0) was aided greatly by five home runs that drove in a combined 14 runs.

Cat Allstatt drove in runs for the Jackets. Messenger was the pitcher of record in both games for Waynesburg.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, April 11, when they host Geneva for a PAC doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 3:30 p.m.
