GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 13) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team hit the road to take on Thiel in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Tomcats by the final score of 8-1.
 
Waynesburg's (0-3, 0-1) lone victory of the day came at second singles, where sophomore Noelle Hughes scored a straight-set (6-3, 6-3) victory. The Tomcats improved to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
 
The Jackets return to action tomorrow, when they travel to Grove City for another PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
