WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 17) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team played host to Muskingum for a Saturday morning match. The Yellow Jackets recorded their first victory of the year by taking down the Muskies 7-2.

Sierra Jones added an 8-3 triumph, before sophomores
Annalise Cardish and Brookyln Shoup completed the sweep with an 8-6 victory.
Wall completed a 2-0 day by winning in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) at first singles. Muskingum (0-2) bounced back by taking flights two and three, but Jones got her team back on the winning track by pulling out a 6-4, 7-5, 10-3 victory at the number-four spot.

Sierra Stevens downed their opponents in straight sets at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
The Jackets get back to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) competition on Tuesday, Sept.19, by hosting Saint Vincent. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
