GROVE CITY, Pa. (Feb. 21) – The Waynesburg University women's basketball team traveled to Grove City for the quarterfinals of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tournament. An explosive second-half effort from the Wolverines ended the Yellow Jackets' title run with an 80-46 loss.
The Jackets (15-12) never led on the evening, but trailed by just 10 points (41-31) at halftime. Grove City (18-8) took control of the contest in the third quarter by outscoring Waynesburg 26-11 in the period. The Wolverines closed out the night by winning the fourth 13-4.
Though it didn't lead to victory, senior forward
Addy Knetzer ended one of the greatest careers in program history with another successful individual effort. She led the Yellow Jackets in both points (17) and rebounds (nine). Knetzer ends her time with the Jackets ranked second all-time in scoring (1,615 points) and first in rebounding (1,032).

Waynesburg's 15-12 overall record marks the eighth-straight winning season for the Waynesburg women.
