STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (April 5) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Ohio on Thursday for a match at Franciscan. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 23-0.
 
The Barons (5-1) scored the eventual game-winning goal 50 seconds into the game and built a 14-0 lead at halftime. Sophomore Christina Bauer played all 60 minutes in net for Waynesburg (0-6). She made 11 saves and scooped up a team-high four ground balls.
 
The Jackets are back in action on Saturday with a home match against D'Youville. Start time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
