WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 20) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team hosted NCAA Division II opponent West Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell 20-0 to the Bobcats.
Wesleyan (5-2) built a 13-0 halftime lead before closing out the day. Waynesburg (0-5) was led by junior
Jackie Adler (Allison Park, Pa. / Hampton), who set team highs in shots (four) and ground balls (four). Freshman
Riley Yoder (Lancaster, Ohio / Fisher Catholic) totaled six saves over 60 minutes in net.
The Yellow Jackets play their third of five-straight home games on Saturday when Thomas More comes to John F. Wiley Stadium. Start time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
