A Look Inside the Hive
Waynesburg junior forward Isaiah Alonzo (Chandler, Ariz. / Tri-City Christian Academy) continues to put up gaudy numbers as Waynesburg looks to secure its first win of the season. Alonzo ranks amongst the top-five in the PAC in both points (21.0) and rebounds (8.3) while shooting .500 from the floor (26-of-52). Sophomore guard Ryan Felberg (Twinsburg, Ohio / Twinsburg) is second on the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game, while also adding 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest. Freshman Jansen Knotts (Ridgeley, W. Va. / Frankfort) has had a strong start to his Yellow Jacket career, averaging 8.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Junior guard Matt Popeck (Washington, Pa. / Washington) continues to work back into the mix. He logged his most minutes (30) and most points (10) since returning to action this season this past Saturday.
 
Scouting the Barons
Through two games, Franciscan is leading the PAC in team offense at 88.5 points per game, but it is in last place in team defense, allowing 93.5 points per game. The Barons have also allowed the most rebounds in the conference at 46.0 per game. Senior guard Sean Hickey has been the crux of the offense so far, averaging 20.5 points per game and scoring his 1,000^th career point against Westminster a few weeks ago. Junior guard Justin Mack has also been very involved in the Baron scoring attack, averaging 16.5 points per game and 2.5 assists per game. Redshirt freshman guard Josh Zimmerman is the team leader in minutes played (32.0) and rebounds (9.0), while also averaging 8.5 points per contest. Franciscan was last in action on Jan. 27, a nearly three-week span.
