WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 19) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team hosted Bethany Friday evening for a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader. The Bison took the opener 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-19). Waynesburg rebounded for a come-from-behind 2-1 (20-25, 25-14, 15-12) victory in the late match.
The opener counted towards both teams' overall and PAC records. The late contest did not count towards either team's win-loss marks.
The Yellow Jackets (1-6, 1-4) kept things close with Bethany (2-3, 2-3) throughout each of the three sets in the first match. Set two, in particular, featured a lot of back-and-forth play between the two squads, with Waynesburg making a late push before Bethany pulled away for the win.

Hannah Buhr (Jefferson, Md. / Brunswick) led the offensive efforts in the first match with a team-high seven kills and squad-best .357 attack percentage. She was followed closely by senior outside hitter

In the deciding third set of match two, Waynesburg jumped out to an early lead before Bethany tied things up at seven. From there, the Yellow Jackets pulled away for a 15-12 win.
Sophomore middle hitter
Kayla Stohon (Summerhill, Pa. / Forest Hills) led the way in the late contest with nine kills and a .667 attack percentage. Colvin added eight kills, Buhr chipped in six and senior right side hitter
