LATROBE, Pa. (March 27) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team traveled to Saint Vincent on Saturday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match with the Bearcats. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 6-3.
 
The Jackets (0-2, 0-2) scored a win in the doubles ranks courtesy of senior Katie Dollard (Bradfordwoods, Pa. / North Allegheny) and sophomore Hayley Sweeney (Johnstown, Pa. / Richland). The number-two duo defeated its opposition 8-2.
 
Sweeney completed a 2-0 day with a straight-set (6-3, 6-2) victory at third singles. Waynesburg's final win of the trip came at sixth singles, where sophomore Marina Hastings swept her way to a 6-2, 6-3 triumph.
