WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 29) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted Grove City to close out the 2022 regular season on Saturday. Prior to a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup with Grove City, the Yellow Jackets celebrated Alexys Marsh, Macie Hothem, and Kayla Stohon on senior day. 
 
Waynesburg (3-22, 1-9 PAC) lost 3-0 to the Wolverines (18-9, 8-2) by 25-15, 25-10, 25-15 set scores. 
 
Marsh (Panama, N.Y. / Panama Central) led Waynesburg in kills (five) and blocks (two). Sophomore Jordan Stein (Manor, Pa. / Norwin) was Waynesburg's main passer in the back row with 16 digs. 
 
Junior Trysten Smith (Senecaville, Ohio / Shenandoah) and freshman Riley Ruffley (Bedford, Pa. / Bedford) each contributed eight assists.
