LATROBE, Pa. (April 27) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to Saint Vincent today for a first-round matchup in the 2022 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tournament. The Yellow Jackets battled the host Bearcats, but saw their season come to an end at the hands of the Bearcats.

Joey English (Smithfield, Pa. / Homeschooled) ended his collegiate career on a high note by going 2-0 in his final time playing for Waynesburg (6-8). He began his day by teaming with sophomore
Ethan Lown (Lebanon, Pa. / Elizabethtown) to earn an 8-4 win at first doubles. English completed his day on the winning end of a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory at number-one singles.
Graduate student
Conor Cassidy (Huntingtown, Md. / Huntingtown) put up a tremendous fight at second singles, but he came painfully short of victory in a 6-4, 7-6 contest.
