Women's tennis battles Saint Vincent

Yellow Jackets fall on the road to Bearcats

LATROBE, Pa. (April 13) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team traveled to Saint Vincent on Thursday for a rare spring match with the Bearcats. The Yellow Jackets dropped the non-conference match with their fellow Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) member 8-1.
 
Waynesburg's (1-10) lone victory came courtesy of senior Hayley Sweeney (Johnstown, Pa. / Richland), who bounced back from dropping set one of her match at second doubles to win a thrilling 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) decision.
