MCHENRY, Md. (January 12) – The Waynesburg University men's wrestling team went 2-1 at the Garrett Community College quad match in Western Maryland on Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets defeated Bergen Community College 30-23 and Jamestown Community College 39-5 and fell to Garrett 38-17.

Seth Evans (Sharon, Pa. / Sharon) went 3-0 on the day with three pins, two at 175 pounds and one at 165. Jessie Orbin (Houston, Pa. / Chartiers-Houston) went unbeaten at 184 pounds with a fall, tech fall and forfeit at 184.

JT Hollyfield (Oakdale, Pa. / West Allegheny) earned a pair of wins by fall against Bergen and Garrett and collected a forfeit against Jamestown.

AJ Tomaino (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) had a pin against Bergen and a forfeit at 174 pounds. Brayden Barbao (Donora, Pa. / Ringgold) earned a 12-10 decision at 149 pounds against Jamestown.

The Jackets host defending Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) champion Saint Vincent on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
