GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 10) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team traveled to Thiel on Friday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the host Tomcats.
Thiel (12-4, 7-1) stayed atop the PAC standings by defeating the Jackets (2-17, 0-8) 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.
Waynesburg was led by graduate student
Larissa Howe (Tomball, Texas / Tomball), who put down a team-high six kills. Senior
Riley Ruffley (Bedford, Pa. / Bedford) helped out the offense with 10 assists.
The Jackets were led defensively by senior Paige Mortimer (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Brentwood), who logged a squad-best 10 digs.

Emily Stutzman (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) paced all competitors with a match-high four aces.
Waynesburg gets back to work on Wednesday, Oct. 15, when it hosts Bethany at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse for another PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
