WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 24) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team welcomed Geneva College to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Golden Tornadoes.
Geneva (5-20, 2-10) earned its second win in conference play by defeating the Jackets (2-21, 0-12) 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.
Graduate student
Larissa Howe (Tomball, Texas / Tomball) led the Yellow Jackets with a match-high 12 kills and one block.
Senior
Riley Ruffley (Bedford, Pa. /Bedford) finished with a team-high 12 assists, while classmate
Paige Mortimore (Pittsburgh, Pa./ Brentwood) chipped in a squad-best 11 digs.
Waynesburg travels to Chatham University's Athletics & Fitness Center to face the Cougars on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Start time for the PAC showdown is scheduled for 7 p.m.
