TRAFFORD, Pa. (Dec. 1) – Senior guard Kalista Friday (Woodsfield, Ohio / Monroe Central) put together a perfect shooting night in leading Waynesburg to it's most recent win. For her efforts, she was honored as the latest Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Friday powered Waynesburg to an 86–54 victory over Hood on Wednesday night with a game-high 25 points. She went 9-for-9 from the field, including 1-for-1 from behind the arc, and was flawless at the line at 6-for-6. She also contributed five rebounds, a game-high four steals and two assists in the win.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, when they host Franciscan for their first conference game of the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
