WASHINGTON, Pa. (Dec. 4) – The Waynesburg University wrestling team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference competition on Thursday night with a road match at Washington & Jefferson. The Yellow Jackets fell 44-10 to the Presidents.
 
Waynesburg (1-3, 0-1) picked up its first win of the night at 174 pounds courtesy of junior Jessie Orbin (Houston, Pa. / Chartiers-Houston), who defeated De'Mier Hamilton by 13-2 major decision. The Jackets other win came at heavyweight, where junior Austin Fleming (Parkersburg, W.Va. / Parkersburg) pinned Fre Beasley.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday, Dec. 6, when it heads to the Ohio Northern Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 9 a.m.
