Waynesburg places 10th in PAC All-Sports Trophy standings for 2024-25

TRAFFORD, Pa. (May 19) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference released its final standings for the 2024-25 PAC All-Sports Trophy race on Monday afternoon. Waynesburg University placed 10th in the both the men's and women's standings for the academic year.

The PAC All-Sports trophies are award to the schools the perform the best in league competition. Points are awarded on each team's finish at their respective PAC championship event. The 11 full-time members are included in the final standings.

The Yellow Jacket men's teams totaled 45.5 points. Waynesburg collected 16.5 points in the fall, 15 in the winter and 14 in the spring season. The football team led the way in the fall with a fifth-place finish among full-time league members. Men's wrestling took fifth at the PAC Championships to lead the winter scoring and men's outdoor track & field placed sixth to pace the spring sports.

Waynesburg's men's total was less than 10 points out of seventh place as the Jackets were just 6.5 points behind Chatham, eight back of Franciscan and 8.5 behind Thiel.

On the women's side, the Jackets finished with 34.5 points, 17.5 coming in the fall. Waynesburg notched 8.5 points in the winter and spring seasons. Women's soccer led the way with a sixth-place league finish and a PAC Tournament berth in the fall. Women's basketball narrowly missed out on a conference tournament berth with a seventh-place showing in the winter and softball did the same in the spring.

Waynesburg finished six points back of Thiel and eight points behind eighth-place Geneva.
