WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Jan. 14) – The Waynesburg University men's basketball team took on Washington & Jefferson at home in a Presidents' Athletic Conference showdown Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell 93-63 to the Presidents.
Off the tip, Waynesburg (5-9, 1-4) and W&J (11-3, 4-1) locked horns in a closely played first five minutes, that saw the visitors edge ahead 9-7. The next five minutes saw the Presidents start to pull away from the Jackets and build a 19-12 lead.
The back half of the first period saw the Presidents continue to build upon their advantage, which grew to 48-31 at the break.
W&J continued to pull away in the second half for the victory.

Scott Bilovus (Imperial, Pa. / West Allegheny), who tallied a team-high 13 points. Junior
Jackson Rhodes (Christchurch, New Zealand /St. Andrews College) chipped in 11 points
The Yellow Jackets will take to the road on Saturday, January 17, for a PAC clash at Geneva. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
