CLEVELAND, Ohio (Oct. 17) – The Waynesburg University football team hit the road on Saturday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup at Case Western Reserve. A slew of big plays from the Spartans allowed them to pull away from the Yellow Jackets in a 41-6 contest.
Case Western (5-1, 2-1) scored the eventual game-winning points on its first drive of the game. The home team used a fake punt to keep a 10-play, 75-yard drive that ended in a touchdown. The possession ended in a one-yard plunge to pay dirt, which was easily the shortest scoring play of the game.
