POLYNICE TO MEET YOU

Senior linebacker Joanes Polynice (Winter Garden, Fla. / West Orange) has made a massive impact over the first three games of the 2026 campaign. Coming into Saturday, Polynice currently ranks second on the team in total tackles, paces the squad in solo stops, has two interceptions for touchdowns and is tied for the team lead with two sacks. His two picks are tied for second in the PAC and his 120 yards in returns tops the league list.

AS GOODE AS HE ONCE WAS?

Sophomore quarterback Quentin Goode made an immediate impact on the PAC in 2025 by being named PAC Newcomer of the Year and ECAC Offensive Rookie of the Year. His freshman season saw him throw for 1,557 yards and 15 touchdowns vs. just three interceptions over eight games played. His signature performance was a 324-yard, four-touchdown showing in a win against Thiel. The first two games of 2026 have seen Goode complete just 42% of his attempts for 225 yards with one touchdown and three picks over two games played.

SCOUTING THE TITANS

While the Westminster offense is still finding its footing, the defense has had its typical selection of outstanding performers. Sophomore inside linebacker Rocco DiFlorio enters Saturday averaging a PAC-high 11.5 tackles per game, while junior defensive back Lamont Austin is tied for the conference lead in passes defended per game. He's also part of a four-way tie for second place in the league with two interceptions.

WELCOME TO THE RIVALRY

Both Larry Wilson and EJ White are getting their first taste of the 116-year history of the Waynesburg/Westminster rivalry, but their similarities don't end there. Both first-year head coaches grew their reputations as offensive coordinators before taking the reins of their respective teams. They are also both in charge of their respective quarterbacks.
