GREENSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Pitt Greensburg on Tuesday for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Bobcats took the 3-0 victory 25-16, 26-24, 25-11.
Senior
Kristina Zadrozny (McDonald, Pa. / West Allegheny) and sophomore
Katie Cottis (Wintersville, Ohio / Indian Creek) led the Yellow Jackets with six kills each, while freshman
Bostyn Guinn (Dallas, Texas / Midlothian Heritage) recorded a career-high 22 assists.
Cottis also led the Yellow Jackets in digs with 11, and senior
Audrey Work (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) finished with a team-high two blocks and one ace.
Waynesburg continues to stay on the road in non-conference play on Wednesday, Sept. 8, against La Roche. The match begins at 7 p.m.
