Aaron Giorgi enters his first season as an assistant coach at Waynesburg in 2025. He will work with the Yellow Jacket running backs.
Giorgi is a familiar name in Greene County as he spent the previous four seasons as the head football coach at Waynesburg Central High School. The Raiders snapped a 24-game conference losing streak in his first sesaon and he led Waynesburg Central to back-to-back WPIAL Class 2A postseason berths in 2023 and 2024.
Prior to his time at Waynesburg Central, Giorgi served as the head coach at nearby Jefferson-Morgan for six seasons. He also served as an assistant coach at J-M for three seasons and was an assistant at Carmichaels for five seasons.
Giorgi played for the Jackets and graduated from Waynesburg in 2007.
