Chris Maxwell is in his second season as a member of the Yellow Jacket football coaching staff. His focus centers mainly on the Waynesburg wide receivers.
Maxwell came to Waynesburg following a year at NCAA Division II member Slippery Rock University, from which he graduated in 2018. He graduated from SRU with a degree in Physical Activity and Fitness Management. During his senior year, he served as a student assistant with The Rock, working primarily with linebackers and special teams.
He is a 2013 graduate of Thomas Jefferson, where he lettered in track & field as a senior. He is continuing his education at West Virginia University, where he is pursuing a Master's Degree in Coaching and Sports Education.
