Waynesburg University Athletics

After graduating from Waynesburg in the spring of 2010, two-time All-PAC honoree Dylan August is in his second season as a graduate assistant and will work with the team’s defensive backs and the junior varsity squad.

Following the 2009 campaign, August earned a first-team all-conference nod after finishing sec­ond on the team in total tackles with 67. He was a second-team selection in 2008. The Bethel Park native was also been honored as a PAC Defensive Player of the Week and an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Southwest Defensive Player of the Week.

August was also a standout in the class­room. He was a four-time member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll and a two-year member of the prestigious ESPN The Maga­zine Academic All-District College Division Football Teams. During his senior season, August was selected as a first-team hon­oree, making him eligible for Academic All- American status.

August is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and currently resides in Waynes­burg.
