Kyle Kyper

After seeing time at quarterback and wide receiver for the Yellow Jackets, Kyle Kyper moved to the coaching ranks in 2011 as a graduate assistant. The 2012 season marked yet another step up for Kyper, who is going into his third year as an assistant coach on Rick Shepas' staff. He'll work with the team's quarterbacks and wide receivers.

During four years with the Jackets, Kyper amassed a very unique set of statistics. During his freshman and sophomore years as a quarterback, he completed 74-of-141passes for 932 yards, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also rushed for 97 yards while under center. Prior to his junior season of 2009, Kyper moved to a slot receiver role and used his 6-3 frame to position himself amongst smaller defensive backs and pull in 33 catches for 410 yards and a touchdown. During his senior season of 2010, Kyper hauled in 25 balls for 272 yards and a score.

Prior to coming to Waynesburg, Kyper was a standout at Huntingdon High School. He graduated from Waynesburg University in 2010 with a B.S. in business administration.
