Waynesburg University Athletics

After a successful playing career, Troy Garove returned to the program in 2012 as a part of Rick Shepas’ staff and will be working primarily with the skill positions.

The Washington native appeared in 35 games for the Orange and Black from 2007-2010. Garove made an impact during his time on the field as a return man and backup running back for the Jackets and enjoyed his most successful season in 2010. As a senior, he earned All-PAC honorable mention honors after averaging 21.8 yards per kick return and taking a punt back for a touchdown against Frostburg State. 

Garove was a 2011 graduate of Waynesburg University after coming from nearby Trinity High School.
