Marcy Bebout enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Waynesburg softball team.
She comes to the Yellow Jackets after spending two years as Lou Giachetti's varsity assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Waynesburg Central High School. Prior to that, she spent two years (2005 and 2006) serving in the same two capacities at Trinity High School.
Bebout is a 2005 graduate of California University of Pa., where she pitched and was a designated player on three very successful Vulcan teams. Over that three-year period, Cal won three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships and made it to the regional championship game twice.
After earning a degree in special education at Cal, Bebout went on to Walden University, where she earned her masters in elementary education.
Prior to her collegiate experiences, Bebout was a three-team all-conference honoree at Trinity High School, which she graduated from in 2001.
Bebout is married to her husband Jim and the pair resides in Washington with their son Landon.
