A former pitcher for the Yellow Jackets, Rachal Braddock returns to the Waynesburg campus for her second season as a member of head coach Lou Giachetti''s staff.
Braddock graduated from Waynesburg in 2004 with a degree in pre-professional psychology with an art minor. She then went on to California University of Pa., where she earned a master's degree in social work.
Prior to college, Braddock was a four-year softball letterman at nearby Beth-Center High School, where she received multiple awards and accolades from various local publications.
She also played for Giachetti as a three-year member of the "Rock Raider Dawgs", a summer traveling league team. She still actively competes in summer pick-up leagues and gives private pitching lessons.
Braddock is married to Patrick Braddock, and the couple resides in Waynesburg with their daughter Lacey. She is currently employed by Uniontown Hospital's Behaviora lHealth Unit as a Licensed Social Worker/Therapist.
