Abby Wemhoff brings four years of academic and athletic excellence as a student-athlete with her to the graduate assistant position with the Waynesburg University women’s basketball team. The 2018-19 campaign is her second with the Yellow Jackets.

Wemhoff is a 2016 graduate of the University of Mount Union, where she received her degree in Physical Education. She was a three-time letter winner and a four-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honoree during her time with the Purple Raiders. She was also a part of the 2016 OAC championship-winning squad.

After completing her student teaching responsibilities, Wemhoff worked at Buckeye Preparatory Academy in Columbus, Ohio, during the 2016-17 school year.

Wemhoff is a 2012 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, where she was a three-year letter winner for the Rough Riders. She was named Most Improved Player during her junior year and added team MVP honors as a senior.
