Libby Gasior enters her third year on the bench as an assistant for Waynesburg College. Gasior is certainly no stranger to the hardwood and the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. Gasior, a three-year letterman at Washington & Jefferson, earned the Presidents’ “Heart & Soul” award and was a captain during her senior season.
Gasior, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., appeared in 56 games for the Presidents in her collegiate career and was a part of the 2002-03 PAC Championship team. During her four years at W&J, the Presidents complied a 66-39 record and posted the first two 20-win season in program history.
Gasior graduated from W&J in Spring of 2004 with a double major in History and Political Science.
Prior to W&J, she was a three-year letterman in basketball and softball at North Hills. On the basketball court, Gasior was all-section honorable mention during the 1999-2000 season when she led the Indians in points and rebounds. In the spring while on the diamond, she was a co-captain on the Indian softball team, which won the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL).
Gasior is currently pursing her Masters of Arts in Teaching at Waynesburg College Southpointe.
