Kayla Jenkins enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Waynesburg University women’s soccer team in 2025.
Jenkins was a 2025 graduate of Shenandoah University (Va.) where she was a four-year member of the Hornets women’s soccer team. She collected Third Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference honors as a forward in 2023 and the Hornets made the ODAC Tournament in each of her four seasons. Jenkins was a multi-year starter at Shenandoah and recorded 14 goals and five assists in her career.
She holds a USA Soccer “D” coaching license last May and began her coaching career as volunteer assistant coach for the Millbrook High School in Winchester, Va.
Jenkins volunteered at FedexField for the 2023 Premier League Summer Series and served at the Loudoun Fellowship of Christian Athletes Power Camp in 2024 and 2025. Jenkins volunteers with the Special Olympics annually.
Jenkins earned a degree in business administration with a concentration in sports management from Shenandoah and minored in English. She is pursuing a Master's of Business Administration at Waynesburg.
