Jonah Cooper

  • Title
    Asst. Coach
Jonah Cooper joined the Waynesburg University tennis coaching staff prior to the 2019-20 school year. He spent four years as one of the Yellow Jackets' top performers from 2015 to 2019.

Over that time, Cooper compiled impressive records as both a singles and doubles competitor. Over four years as a starter, including three at first singles, he logged a 39-25 mark. He was even more effective as a doubles player, going 43-24 and teaming up with Adam McKnight to take second at first doubles at the 2016 PAC Championships. He logged three Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week awards and was tabbed first-team All-PAC in both singles and double play in 2019 before graduating in 2019 with a degree in Nursing.

Cooper was also a two-time member of the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll and was Waynesburg's male representative at the 2019 PAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year Banquet.
