Barnhart makes the jump from player to coach in 2012 after a tremendous playing career at Division III national powerhouse Juniata. The Titusville, Pa. native spent three years with the Eagles before transferring to West Virginia University to complete her degree in advertising.
While at Juniata, Barnhart was a two-year co-captain and was twice honored on the NCAA Division III All-National Championship Tournament team. The newest addition to the Waynesburg staff was also lauded as a 2009 honorable mention All-American.
Before heading to Juniata, Barnhart was a two-time all-state selection at Titusville High School, which she graduated from in 2008. In 2006, she was part of Titusville’s PIAA state championship runner-up team.
