Dalton Mount enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Waynesburg University baseball team in the 2026 season.
Mount graduated from Waynesburg in May 2025 with a degree in sports management. A four-year member of the Yellow Jacket baseball team, Mount started 98 games for the Jackets and ranks second in program history with 35 career stolen bases.Â
Mount was three-time Academic All-District selection from the College Sports Communicators and led Waynesburg in stolen bases in each of his last three seasons. In 2024 he led Waynesburg in hits, runs, walks, total bases and stolen bases as Waynesburg matched its single-season record for wins and made its first Presidents’ Athletic Conference Tournament appearance since 2019.
