Mara Polczynski enters her first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Waynesburg University women’s basketball team in the 2025-26 season.
Polczynski was a four-year starter at Presidents’ Athletic Conference foe Grove City and was named the 2024-25 PAC Defensive Player of the Year as well as second team All-PAC. In 2024, she led the Wolverines in total points (265), assists (82) and steals (80), and she concluded her career standing third all-time for Grove City in assists (366) and steals (285).
Polcynski was named twice to the PAC Academic Honor Roll while also being selected to the PAC All-Sportsmanship team in the 2024-25 season.
Polcynski graduated from Grove City in May 2025 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Biblical and Religious Studies. She is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management at Waynesburg.
