Ja'Khia Matthews went 1-1 at Waynesburg's first-ever home women's wrestling event. She squared off with Buffalo State's Diamond Martin in one of the most exciting matches of the day at 207 pounds. The bout went deep into the second period before Martin edged out the win. Matthews secured a pin in just 29 seconds of her matchup against Bethany's Sophie Diaz for Waynesburg's lone victory against Bison.
