Waynesburg University Athletics

Sydney Wilson went 4-0 last week as Waynesburg competed at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She broke Waynesburg's all-time strikeout record with 13 punchouts against Saint Elizabeth and struck out 11 in a win over Lancaster Bible. Wilson allowed just six earned runs in 28 innings of work for a 1.50 earned run average. At the plate, she had five hits and six RBI in 12 at-bats. The Jackets closed their spring break trip on an eight-game winning streak and own a 10-1 record this season.
