Senior Matt Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin) was Waynesburg's top performer at both invitationals it competed in this past week. He tied for eighth at Monday's Thiel Spring Invitational with a four-over 74, before taking home individual medalist honors at Thursday's Bethany Spring Invitational. Karpeal fired a four-over 75 at Ogelbay Resort to top the 38-man field.
