Waynesburg University head football coach
Rick Shepas and his staff held their second annual Air Raid Youth Football Camp on July 28-30.
The event welcomed young players in grades two through eight and focused on the fundamentals of Waynesburg University football.
Coach Shepas was pleased to see a tremendous amount of growth from 2007 to 2008. While last year's event welcomed 30 young athletes to John F. Wiley Stadium, around 70 campers improved their skills on the Fieldturf surface this year.
With the huge jump in attendance numbers, the camp looks to be a yearly tradition of the program for the foreseeable future.
