Fluctuating weather causes several schedule changes

Men's golf, baseball and softball all announce shuffles and postponements

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 28) – Once again, southwestern Pennsylvania's unpredictable spring weather has caused multiple changes in the upcoming sports schedules.

Inclement weather around New Castle has caused a postponement of the Westminster Titan Invitational and has pushed the opening date of the Waynesburg men's golf team's season likely back to April 14, when the Yellow Jackets are scheduled to play in the Saint Vincent College Invitational.

Speaking of the Jackets and the Westminster Titans, the two teams are currently scheduled to play a doubleheader in New Wilmington tomorrow. However, there is a possibility that the poor weather that descended upon that part of the state could move the twin bill to Waynesburg. Keep checking in to waynesburgsports.com for updates on this situation.

Finally, the Waynesburg softball team made an announcement regarding its upcoming doubleheader at Case Western Reserve. For the second time this season, the Yellow Jackets and the Spartans have changed the date of their scheduled meeting. The game is now set to be played in Cleveland on Monday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m.
